Self-Care for Dads
We are far enough into the 21st Century to let go of the old fashioned beliefs that we don’t need self-care, especially if “we” are folks who call themselves men. We know that everyone, everywhere needs to care for themselves. And, whenever a holiday comes along - we can and should take the opportunity to encourage, support, and even aid folks in self-care. Think of all holidays, Father’s Day included, as an opportunity to give support as well as gifts.
So, in the spirit of male folks using Pangea products, we did a little poll of some male customers and here is what we found they love and want you to give them:
De-Stress Foaming Cleanser - When asked, this was the first thing our poll-takers requested. The lightweight gel feels like it really gets stuff off your skin, so sunscreen is no match for this cleanser. Folks who bike said it was a life saver for the grime and grit of mountain and road biking.
Purifying Toner - After being given this toner, one of the people we polled said, “I didn’t even know I needed toner, or how good it would feel. I use it every day and it feels like I am doing something good for my face.”
Gentle Exfoliator - One of the folks we talked to said that they had a long history of using a drugstore brand of exfoliator and that this leveled up their game. It made a bigger difference than the sandpaper version they’d been using, and it was way less hard on the skin.
Canadian White Pine and Sage Hand Soap - Along with being a best-seller, this soap is also the sexiest smell ever. According to the poll, it not only smelled good but did a great job on all kids of dirt from grease to bread dough, and it looks great on the counter in any bathroom or kitchen.
This is the time to make a commitment to yourself - when I have a chance to give gifts I will always encourage the recipient to care for themselves. And, with the products above they are caring for the environment and the world around them, too. So give with gusto and get those people who celebrate Father’s Day on the self-care bandwagon.
